PITTSBURGH -- The F.B.I. is now investigating a man who was arrested during the G-20.
Elliot Madison, 41, was discovered in a hotel room near Pittsburgh on September 24 surrounded by what police call a makeshift communications center.
According to the complaint, Madison and another man were listening to emergency radio frequencies and aiding illegal protests.
Police said Madison used Twitter to inform his partners of police actions and prevent their apprehension by authorities.
Madison, a self-described anarchist, works with a group in New York City called the People's Law Collective. The organization offers legal aid to protesters.
The F.B.I. raided his Queens home on Thursday and removed boxes of subversive materials, along with his personal computers.
