Picked up some communications this morning on 167.2625 NAC 167, all encrypted. First time I've heard any digital FBI here in DFW. The changeover must be starting. Still, most of there stuff here is analog.

Might have to plug that one in to see if it's active in San Antonio also...

In San Antonio there is one P25 freq in use with 2 NACs:

170.8250 NAC 167/NAC 293

Can you tell if this is a repeater or simplex?

170.825 is active here in DFW as well, but haven't heard any P25 activity on it yet. Last check, it was analog, and generally encrypted. I have heard some "in the clear" every once and a while, but not much. Surveillance and such. 167.2625 was a repeater in analog mode, so I assume with the digital transition, that has remained.

Digital changeover coming fast and furious now with the feebs here in Cowtown and Big D:

The following were CONFIRMED digital a little while back:

167.2625
167.2875

Now today - 167.3625 digital -

All freqs NAC167, and not surprisingly, encrypted. I have 167.3625 as a Mid Cities use freq...

Interesting they skipped 167.3125 - this is the primary (supposedly) for my area - Denton and Collin County - and the Resident Agency associated with that..
