I am looking for the following in the illinois area.

MARS (military auxillary Radio) ALL INPUTS OUT PUTS AND PL/DPL INFO

FEMA Input/output and tone infomation

I have found(no offense) RR to be lacking in posting inputs and PL and of the information posted VERY LITTLE of it is accurate,(blame freq migration)

ANY help would be appreciated.

You might edit your subject line, it's a bunch of periods so most people will pass it by since they don't know what you're looking for.

Fema and mars are all right here in the database. Look around and you'll find it. RR is not lacking at all,you just have to know how and where to look.

Well, I have researched most areas and would appreciate some help in the area of MARS freqs and FEMA freqs....The 138.525(?) repeater for Illinois doesnt appear to be active under whats listed here. Im looking for only the most current input/output PL listings.

Thanks./

Unless there is a disaster and the need to use Radios, you won't hear anything on the FEMA Channels. The Cellphone infrastructure still exists and is easier to use.

MARS is migrating to NB channels, so unless you find someone inside who wants to share the info, the only suggestion is to SEARCH 138-144 and 148-150.7 and see if you find any NET Nights or chit-chat.

OK well I Found the CAPS channels.
I have the FEMA Illinois repeater group. (138.525/?????)

Now with respect to MARS.....
Is THIS yet another "protected" bit of information?
One of the repeaters is 148.650/148.025 PL 103.5 No traffic last 72 hours

so if you KNOW of any MARS repeater freqs you may leave them in my email.
Ill pass it to you if you have what Im looking for.

FEMA Region 5 [Your Area] was always listed as 138.5750 [not 5250], which might explain why you have not heard anything. The input was reported as 141.9500 try those

Even with the adjustment to 575 you will probably still hear nothing as FEMA has totally converted to UHF frequencies, switched to P25 and has mandated AES encryption on all frequencies.

Well, there are no documents that I know of that can be released but I am the horses mouth and am involved with their communications. Been using Motorola XTS 5000's on UHF with AES for all agency comms for quite some time.

Certain Operational Units have moved to UHF [or remained there] and yes are now P25/Enc, however there are still VHF Analog networks up and running still. Not very active unless there is an incident, as Cell and Nextel and BB are heavily used for convenience

That is correct, sorry if my response wasn't clear.
