I have been getting hits on this sense 1:14 AM this morning, great carrier, but no modulation.

Is this paired with anything, or could it just be a data frequency?

The Frequency is NOT just FBI

However adding the NAC to the equation, it is a good ***-u-mption that it is likely that DOJ Agency.

You still have much to learn :(

That is an FBI frequency according to the federal monitoring wiki here at radio reference.

Bill does every federal agency have every federal frequency in its radios? And does every frequency belong to each agency?

You do realize that is a hidious question to ask. You know how many channels would be needed. I don't believe there is a radio that exist that would cover all the channels.

JUST THINK ABOUT IT...

No
and
No

spend sometime and read the NTIA link

No there is no need to have the NMF talk to the NPS or NLECC to talk to an agency they are not contracted to support

I know this is an old thread started my me, but I now have more info, after adding the frequency to SDSharp.
I'm not sure if this will help anyone, but it's pegging my signal meter.

NO. Federal frequency bands are divided up among all Federal users. Depending on the agency and their mission 1 agency may have more frequencies in a given band than another agency. For the FAA we have very few VHF and UHF Land/Mobile Radio (LMR) frequencies even though we do have some systems that depend on these bands such as LLWAS, RVR. Their use are more for data/control links.

At the FAA Tech Center we have 17 frequency assignments in the VHF LMR band. This is more than any other FAA organization at a single location. On the UHF LMR band we have 7 frequency assignments.

The FAA for the assignments here at the Tech Center had to "borrow" some frequencies from other federal agencies. I have to review the requirement for each of these frequency assignments every 5 years. Even if i can justify we still have a need for the borrowed frequencies the owning agency can say that they need the frequency and we would then have to go borrow another frequency or combine our requirement with another Tech Center user.
