Default dual band use

as anyone hear 167 nac in the 406 to 420 frequencies? thanks

The Bureau still uses in different areas, UHF to link remote Repeater sites.
what freq and where ?

And there are Non FBI UHF TRS that have $167 for a NAC

i read in the book ghost in the wires that if the target of a surveillance is sophisticated, frequencies for other agencies would be used

Yes there are agencies who have Dual Band Radios (APX Series) and do share when working in a task-force etc, however (IMHO and monitoring experience) I think you are reading too much into that.

What freq/Tone and where did you originally hear ??
