Unknown Agency Raleigh NC

Been hearing a lot of encrypted traffic on 170.750 in Raleigh NC on my TRX-1. NAC is 293 with TG showing as 65535 and RID of 8337154, 8337990 and 8337061. Suspect it might be federal court house security, but after 7pm on a Friday night?????

Anyone have any idea?

You would be correct. USMS Court Security. They're strapped secure with AES256 and have OTAR capabilities.

Very correct! You can dig around in the area where you will find frequencies and sites whom are shared by ATF/FBI/USMS all AES-256 and are re-keyed very regularly and linked as part of one of the largest radio networks in the world.

CSO [Court Security Officers] have 10 Channels [Repeaters] which vary by Court/Region
170.7375, 170.7500, 171.2625, 173.1125 and 173.8000
NAC and/or input Freq vary by Channel #
