Charlotte County Signals & Codes

Hello all,

I'm newly transplanted in Port Charlotte and am having trouble finding their radio codes and signals... Got the system programmed and can hear all, just not used to these codes and signals.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have googled my heart out and can't find anything.

Charlotte S.O. abandoned signals and 10 codes and went to plain talk a while back. I am not sure about PGPD. If you hear the S.O. using signals & 10 codes, they are not authorized. I have a list around somewhere and will can look for it.

Yep, they are using them. I know the basics (10-65, 10-50, 10-51) but some of the signals they are using...

I'm not sure how long ago I send the 10/signal codes. I was down there back in 2000 got that from the radio shack on 441 I think.

Yeah, especially since Charlotte now uses plain language. This thread is almost three years old.
