I am planning a trip to Florida and would like to know what 2/440 repeaters are active. I am going to be in Titusville, North Palm Beach, Marathon/Key West, Sanibel/Ft. Myers, and St. Augustine. Also any Skywarn information in those areas would be appreciated.

Thanks

For North Palm Beach the most active and easiest to access are:

146.670 PL 110.9
146.625 PL 110.9

That list is outdated. Here are a few updates....

- The 145.250 repeater is no longer in services. It was replaced with the 147.330 repeater at the same location. PL Tone is still 107.2Hz, both transmit and receive. Covers North Titusville, Mims, and Scotsmoor nicely. Repeater is built from a pair of 2M Alinco mobile radios, a CAT-1000 controller, and a 4 pack Telewave duplexor system. Feed line is LMR-400 into a 4-bay folded dipole antenna.

- The 444.150 repeater is no longer in service. Has not been in service for several years now. No plans to bring this one back online.

- The 145.490 repeater has a PL Tone of 100.0Hz, although the tone is not activated.

- The 147.075 repeater has a SAME Weather Alert Receiver on it and it goes off during Weather Alerts issued by the National Weather Service in Melbourne, FL. The only Titusville repeater with that feature right now.

- Another UHF repeater not listed is the 442.850 repeater. Has a PL Tone of 107.2Hz. The PL is not activated at this time.

The others listed are correct.
