Hillsborough County Fire/Law system

Does anyone have current updated information on first responder systems.?
Is EDACS still used or have some or all switched over to P-25 on 700/800 mhz.
Any updated talk groups for which ever systems?

It's still mainly EDACS. The newer 700 P25 system has a couple users on it, but the county has been ridiculously slow in switching everyone over to the new system (it is literally taking them years).

The only real big change that's happened to the system lately is encryption of some HCSO Provoice TGs, but that's about it.

Temple Terrace operates on the P25 system.

I monitor the EDACS system at times and I’ve noticed new “unknown” talkgroups using unencrypted provoice... one sounded like a Tac channel (due to operation) but I cannot confirm. I believe this was on the West system. I live in the East - normally don’t monitor the West.
