Hi, I'll shortly be taking a vacation to Hc. A few question's.

1- Does Hernando still remain on their Motorola analog trunk, and is it easy to track ?.
2-Can someone help me out with any vhf/uhf public safety one's/and notable business one's ?.
3-Will a bct15 be sufficient ?.
4-Shoul Pasco or Lee be listenable with an inside antenna ?.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

public safety frequencies in hernando county

I've seen that this site, and most others, are not listing the correct frequencies for fire/police in Hernando County, FL... I'm using a standard USB RTL-SDR dongle, with SDRsharp and radio settings at NFM with Blackman-Harris 4 filter, Order# 10 and 12khz bandwith setting... I have the seen the following frequencies...:

police dispatch #1: 855.987.000 NFM
police dispatch #2: 856.987.000 NFM
fire dispatch #1: 859.837.500 NFM
police driver #1: 857.837.500 NFM
police driver #2: 858.387.500 NFM
police driver #3: 856.837.000 NFM

The first two frequencies are apart of the Hernando County Motorola system. The rest are apart of the Pasco County EDACS system. The database is correct. You’re listening to trunked frequencies conventionally. Try programming your scanner with the actual frequencies and talkgroups for each system.
