Can't change email in User CP

When I go to change my email in User CP while logged in, I get a screen that says I must login to access. But when I go ahead and re enter my UN and PW another screen says my info is not valid.

What's the deal ? I'm not getting notifications from subscribed threads and need to make sure my email is correct.
