Can these 2 threads be merged?

These 2 threads are both dealing with basically the same topic, even though different radios are being mentioned in each - USB driver issues with Windows 8 / 8.1

It's going to be a problem if this topic gets repeated over and over again - fragmented topics aren't helpful, especially since not a lot of folks use the search tools.

Can these 2 threads be merged and a new subject line installed - and it would likely be helpful if the new merged thread were stickied.
