Information Request - Please help.

Hi,
I've been out of the scanner arena for quite some time. Could someone recommend a good scanner to purchase that can pick up the new digital RCMP frequencies? What are the new RCMP frequencies? Are they encrypted, or just digital now?

Where is the best place to look for an up-to-date list of scanner frequencies for Yorkton? I'm interested in a scanner that could pick up RCMP, ambulance, fire, cordless phones, cell phones (if possible), etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I just wasn't getting a reponse, but I'll be a little more patient. It's just that I'm wanting to buy a scanner as a birthday present and I need some ideas as soon as possible.
