Input Frequency

Dose anyone know exactly what the input frequency is for
and do i need to also be programing it into the scanner?
When I update through computer software it's not loading
the input is it supposed to?

Typically you won't want or need to program the input frequency into your radio. The input frequency is the frequency that the mobile and portable radios transmit on into the repeater - then the repeater takes what it hears on the input frequency and transmits it at a much higher power on the output frequency - which is the frequency you are programming in your scanner. Some folks like to program the inputs so that they only hear what is going on near their house. Most people listen to the output, and that is why the software loads only the output.
