So I always listen to the local village police here and I guess they switched to a new system.

Is there a scanner out there now that allows us to listen now? I'm sorry if this has been asked I haven't been on in a long time...

If it is encrypted then no. It is against the law to decode encrypted communications unless authorized by that agency.
