the north shore area is finally coming on oasis Starting on sept 25 the northshore fire dept is going to start reprogramming their radios for oasis project 25..phrase 1. figure it will take a week.to complete the process .
their id is 2081 asked if they will continue to simulcast on milw county 800 trunking and was told, no, should be a quick change over to p25 .
so I guess time will tell on that... also I have noticed that the milw county trunking system has been really spotty and was told the reason for that was they have been running low power on the milw county motorala 800 trunking . also that some of the sites were not up.....
As far as northshore police depts I was told that is entirely separate from fire dept and person providing information on fire dept had no knowledge of when the police are going to start their changeover
anyone heard when northshore police are going to start their changeover... I believe they have the radio in the squads already...rj
