Scanner with Remote Head

As the title say I am looking for a scanner that can have a remote head for a specific application. Back in the day Uniden had the RH96 that allowed a scanner in an another area. Does anyone make anything anymore like this ? Looking to add a P25 trunking scanner to our command post for SAR but really only have 3" behind the console to put any thing.

Whistler TRX-2 has a remote head very thin with 4 magnets to hold it in place.

Consider a handheld, like the 436 or SDS-100 The entire unit is about the size of a remote head.

We have a 436 handheld. It doesn't work well for the application. We need something mounted and permanent. I'll look into the TRX-2. Thanks

Use any kind of iPad or Android tablet together with BCD536HP. Use a small external speaker pointing at the operator. Too large speaker and the audio gets bassy and hard to understand. To change the volume in an easy way that everybody understands you could use a 5W potentiometer at about 22 ohm, preferable logaritmic, with top and bottom connected to scanner and middle viper and bottom to speaker.
