Online maps are incredible these days. Satellite images let me see the truck parked in my driveway. So where's the online map I can trace the line from a point on my house to the tower to help me aim my yagi in one easy step?

Google Earth.
Save a large image of your house and the TX site while using the ruler function connect the sites with a line, combine them (or print them) with an overall big image of both. Line the images up.

Then again, just aim the yagi until it is a clear signal...

There is an on-line program that will allow you to aim your TV antenna precisely at a broadcast TV station in the United States. You give your location and it will tell you what TV stations (analog and digital) are transmitting in your area and then tell you precisely where to aim your antenna in degrees for the best reception. It's pretty neat:

I use DeLorme Street Atlas 2007. As you draw a line on the map from your antenna to the transmitter, it gives the bearing in degrees as well as distance.

Edit: This software must be purchased and installed on your computer.
