I’ve been spending the last week here in Atlanta. While here I’ve been doing a lot of scanning. One county I noticed that needed updating was Clayton County. I found a lot of active frequencies that are listed on the FCC site for Clayton County Sheriff and Police but are not listed on Radio Reference. Here is what I have so far. Maybe someone else can help fill in the missing pieces.

Police North 151.3250 CTCSS 203.5Hz
Sheriff or Police North? 158.8950 CTCSS 107.2Hz
Sheriff 158.9400
Sheriff 155.0550 CTCSS 107.2Hz
Sheriff 153.8150
Sheriff 153.9050
Sheriff Ops or Dispatch? 158.7300 CTCSS 156.7Hz
Sheriff 159.4350
Police or Sheriff 155.0550 CTCSS 107.2Hz
Unknown 156.2400
Police or Sheriff? 154.1000 CTCSS 107.2Hz
Unknown 154.7100
Unknown 151.4900
Sheriff or Police South? 150.9950 CTCSS 107.2Hz
Unknown 453.2750
Unknown 453.3250
Unknown 453.5250

I figure they are broken into North and South districts from the maps I looked at.

Hey Dan. Did you monitor any activity on those frequencies? They only accept updates with verification of what/who is transmitting on new frequencies. If you id'd who was on what, submit it to RR.

I know all the freqs were in RR but some were not fully ID. It helps to know north end or south end units, tones, etc. I also have some from the FCC site I have to review the audio still. As far as EMS/Fire goes, that was already ID as being correct from another poster. If my listing is incorrect, since you live in Clayton County, would you be kind enough to update the listing and I will wait.

The 150.995 CCPD South repeater output channel is not ID'ed/listed on the RR database. Instead that frequency has been mistakenly listed as the input frequency to 155.055 (both repeaters are on the same license.) The correct input frequencies to those two repeaters are 153.815 and 159.045 but I am too far away to identify which input is paired with the correct repeater output.

hrmmm ill have to dig up my submissions.

150.995 should be north and 151.325 should be south. they are both on the same license because they only have 1 main tower. the E-Ops 911 Center is the old tornado shelter that PD used LOOOOOONG ago. they refitted it and turned it into the PD/EMS/Fire/SO Ops center.

i use a Pro-83... yes i know.....OLD !! but thats all i need for Clayton. only a couple of SO Channels are encrypted sometimes, and everything else is simplex analog

Okay, thanks. I was going by the RR database listing which shows "151.32500 WNUA851 RM 203.5 PL 1 Police North District" which was why I had 150.995 as South. Another needed update found.

BTW, it looks like the 151.325 repeater has 155.085 as it's input according to the license although it's not listed on the database but again I'm not close enough to verify it.

Thanks for the updates. When I was listening to all the recordings I used the county map to track the call locations. All the calls I heard on 151.325 appeared to be in the north end of the county and 150.995 seem to be in the south end. I will re-listen to my audios again. I also take it these freqs are for CCPD and not CCSO? Again I only visit Atlanta every 3 to 4 months and I always try to make sure my radio is programed correctly.

the main SO Freq is 158.895. i dont have anything else programmed, except for what i think is the jail freq, because i only hear traffic on it when im very close to the jail which is 153.815 again i THINK that is the jail

Thanks for the info. FYI I heard what sounded like the jail on 154.100 (107.2Hz). I listen to them doing a head count and moving inmates from one section to another. All the transmissions sounded like a jail.

153.815 should be a repeater input, not just a simplex frequency. It's listed in the licenses as both M and FX1 codes. If it's heard near the jail then it must be the input frequency to the SO 155.055 repeater from license WPLF542. If so, then that leaves 159.045 as the input to the CCPD 150.995 repeater.

Well I'm back in Atlanta again. Any new updates for the Clayton County Sheriff? I see the CCSO listing has not been updated on RR in awhile. I'm picking up a ton of SO traffic on 155.055. It could be there one of there dispatch channels since units are being dispatched on it. The other channel with a buch of traffic is 158.895 which is listed as LAW TAC on RR. The channel listed as Dispatch "159.435" is quite. I also heard on of the units say to switch over to channel 7. Any idea on that one? By the way, what does CDL stand for?
Thanks

By the way, did anyone monitor the GSP Trooper involved accident this morning on I85 south just a few feet from the Fulton County line. He sounded bad but will be ok.

Make sure that when you are listening to 158.73 you put on the ctcss. Cherokee County also uses it for their SO as well!
