Tow truck frequencies

I thought it might be interesting to add tow truck frequencies to my scanner. I have searched and can not locate any frequencies. I checked the database for business also. Does any know if they are possibly dispatched by cell phone instead of by radio. I listen to Paulding, Douglas and Cobb counties.

Digital or encrypted would still be listed on the FCC database, correct?
Digital I should be able to receive with a TRX-1. What type of systems would I not be able to get?

Yes it’s all on the FCC database except Federal.

I have programmed the Georgia Fleet Talk into my TRX-1 and will monitor that for a while to see if i get any action there. Thanks for the suggestion.

If they lease airtime on a commercial trunked system or community repeater there is no way to know which system.

In some areas, it's a highly-competitive business. Encryption keeps the other companies from jumping calls.

Regardless you can’t trunk it with a scanner..even with a radio...has to be a unit ID, ESN Validation, System Key..all has to be registered on the system.

Not supposed to trunk track DMR, but it does. Not supposed to trunk track NXDN, but it does. So it doesn't track like P-25, EDACS, LTR. So what. It does follow the system and TGID's.

And who the heck is THEY???
