I don't where to post this question so for the sake of simplicity I will say I am talking about GMRS frequencies.
If I have 3 people on a GMRS frequency, and I want all 3 radios to be on the primary frequency with the same CTCSS, each radio scan a secondary channel (same frequency different CTCSS codes) this in lay terms would give all three radios a private line so to say. In a simplex operation this is no issue at all but in a repeater style setup, ideally each CTCSS 'talkgroup' would have to have their own TX/RX radios (on the repeater end) in order to not get frequency busy signals back correct?
In simpler terms does a repeater need to have one radio per CTCSS talkgroup?
