rebanding info.

Hello.
My question is i have a psr500 and psr800 and will be travelling in the states next month.With the rebanding in progress how do i go about setting up my radios to receive these new fregs.My areas of travell well be from seattle to california and to the east coast. regards Dave.

For the PSR-500, the 3 big apps - Win500, PSREdit500 and ARC500 - all handle rebanding. AFAIK, you can't do this manually. I know there's an article about doing it manually in our wiki, but I've heard a couple of reports that it doesn't always work. It appears that, manually, you can't access Table Line 0 - and some systems evidently need that. Others seem not to.

For the PSR-800, the (weekly?) download of the database will have the latest rebanding updates. However if you want to do it manually, you can - the PSR-800 wiki has the details...
