Pager/Phone Alert

Does anyone know of alerts that one can get on there phone or pager for incidents happening in los angeles. I already have something called nixle which is used by lapd and lasd. I wish there was something for swat call outs. Or something i can program with the lapd radio to send out to my phone when code 3 calls come out. lol. Thank you.

does ipn work daily? because some of these programs dont work everyday and give unimportant call info.

Yes, 24/7. I've been using since 2003.

If you subscribe to the LACoFD twitter feed and then set that to forward via SMS to you phone, you will get basically every significant LACoFD related incident. They are really good about staying on top of things. In fact sometimes, it almost gets annoying because your phone will go off 100x a day.
