I'm not sure the All-Star Game and events surrounding is much more than just another day of activities at Staples Center.

An event like the upcoming Oscars should get much more PD activity.

Specifically one or both of the West Bureau Tac frequencies, Ch 40 506.8125 and/or Ch 41 484.4125, and at least one of the seven citywide tac frequencies.

For this year the event organizers have secured a STA for these frequencies for their in-house security at the Kodak, all 4-watt, simplex, analog, narrowband:
