San Bernardino County P25 system

Hey all, from a source, I have obtained the CC frequencies from the county radios. I will list them in their entirety. The ones with names after them are the ones that have been found on the RR website for the system. The rest I assume are for other sites not yet identified or for later use. Adding here for us to add in and monitor. For whatever reason Rodman, Ontario PD, County General Services, homestead, and Bertha aren't in this radio, maybe only certain radios have those CC's in them.

Unfortunately, no, it's kinda weird how it's set up, there are no site aliases just a master list of control channels in the codeplug, and apparently not a full one seeing as how many are missing from the known list already compiled.

Keep in mind that all 16K radios will be re-programmed to clear out the old analog programming and the zones and there will be a finalized P25 Digital Codeplug countywide being pushed in the near future.

Anyone have information of 8-LAW-1 et al (sheriff) in San Bernardino County? They don't seem to be on the old system with fire any longer. Are they moving to a P25 system like described here?

All of Law Enforcement for SBDCO has moved to a new P25 system and is encrypted and silent. So you are out of luck

I do not think Ontario is Encrypted but you need to program and be-able to hear their TRS Cell Site.

In listening out where I work in Joshua Tree, been hearing a few TG's popping up. Figured out that 3775 is County animal control, Station Oscar. I'll submit soon as long as I don't hear anything else under that ID.

Another ID that is popping up is 2529, still haven't caught any designators yet so unsure what the use is. But I'm still listening.
Edit- of course as soon as I post this I hear call signs on it "108 to 110" which used to be the designators for the local, I believe Yucca Valley, animal control department.

I've always heard (on RR and via county radio folks) that ALL law enforcement in San Bern Co would be "E".

I hear them on 9-OntPD-1 right now in the clear.

So i have been hearing a lot of radio transmissions on the P25 system the last couple days did they move SBCO fire to the P25 system I have been getting a lot of San Brnardino city fire Colton Redlands and Rialto High desert Yucca Valley just been a hole lot of different transmissions hear are some of the talk group ID's

Had posted this a while back. not all are confirmed, so it hasn’t been submitted until I can get out there and monitor more. It just seems like a likely pattern.

That's the list I was looking for, couldn't find it in the past threads. The ACO channel I know for certain as it is the exact same traffic as it was on the old analog system, the fire channels I'm sure we'll figure out in the next few weeks as fire switches over to the new system. Out here in Yucca Valley, the 4 system is showing out of range and the CC's aren't active on the scanner.

so I have the new p25 programed in the my BCD996X... I see when ontario PD dispatch is on, I hear them broken up.. is there a setting to fix so i don't hear them broken up? also does anyone have an updated list for P25 west valley? looking to hear chino PD

Unfortunately, this is intentional. Unless they are "temporarily" in the clear which I'm certain won't last very long. They use P25 encryption and you won't be able to listen to any law enforcement in SBCo. Currently, you "can" hear FD channels, though.

My scanner does the same thing. Sometimes on PD channels, I can hear voice blips and chirps but usually nothing except for the scanner showing me the talkgroup is in use.

and what kind of scanner are you using? I remember when when I first started to program LAPD I had the same issues, I can't remember how I fixed it...
