Trying to find out the System ID and WACN for the new Kauai County Public Safety P25 System. Also, any new talk groups? Any info on that be helpful.

What's in the database is all we got. Not too many users in the islands so info is hard to come by. If you find out what it is, please submit.

Kauai county Police and Fire Motorola Radios

What Motorola radios is Kauai Police Dept or Kauai Fire Department using?
XTS or APX radios? RR Database indicates Phase 1 Motorola system but Motorola has
discontinued XTS radios.

What I have seen is XTL/XTS 2500 or 5000 series radios, which will do P25 Phase 1 just fine.

If/when we receive updates, the DB will be updated. No sense asking over and over.

MtnBiker2005 provided some good info from Pro96Com a few posts back, are you within range of that site to give it a try? I am too far away.

The database won't update itself, it needs users to confirm the talkgroups. If you are within range, then you are a good candidate.

The reason for the inquiry is because I don't have updates. I would have provided updates if I had any. The update provided by MtnBiker2005 is much appreciated.
