WOW! The last time I posted about my rigs

was in 2013.... yeah alot has changed in 5 years. Well I sold ALL of my SW radios and got out of it until recently, I bought a Grundig YB500 for 60.00 perfect condition as I will be using this one as my SW rig.

But im sure alot has changed in SW since I was last band scanning.

Never had one but it looks like a fun little radio. It's odd that reading Universal's website states that it's replacement (YB550) didn't have longwave coverage like yours does. Give us a brief review of it after a while, it looks much easier to carry to RFI free locations than even my Panasonic RF-B65!

One thing you'll definitely notice is deader bands with less overall activity.

Ya really have to hunt for it more than even 5 years ago.
