Looking around for some Volmet stations to use as propagation indicators, I came across this item in my list...

SHANNON
3413 SS-SR H+00
8957 H24
5505 H24
13264 SR-SS
H+05, H+10, H+15, H+20, H+30, H+35, H+40, H+45, H+50

"SS-SR" and "SR-SS"???

Ah, sunset to sunrise and sunrise to sunset!!!

Now I have to find out what time SS and SR is on the west coast of Ireland.... :)

Simon Brown's World Map may be able to help. What you don't see is the cursor on the western coast of Ireland.

I believe CSVUserList has this ability too.

This is a good topic for expansion, as knowing when sunset or sunrise in your target area plays a major role in whether you have a chance to hear them.

We have several tools listed in our wiki here...are there others that folks like to use?

I use David Taylor's "WXTrack" so that I can show my grandson the ISS going overhead - but it does have a lot of other features - I can shift the time to forecast when the gray line is coming so I can be prepared. At the moment 1800UTC/0600local is looking good for Shannon!
