Default HYT TC-610 frequency range

i got this radio: TC-610 TC-610 - For Business Customer - Hytera Communications Corporation Limited
the actual model name is TC-610U(2) with firmware V1.03.10 and it has a sticker stating frequency of 450-470MHz.
I would like to have the radio in range 440-470MHz, but the programming software denies it. The radio came with an antenna rated for 440-470MHz.

Is it somehow possible to modify the radio to work in 440-470MHz range? Is it even possible?

thanks for any input!

Having had experance with other HYT/hytra radios, I can tell you that they will not allow you to go more then a few herz out of range.

This are cheap throw away radios and their also is not a service support system for them.

If they get to off frequency or need other bench alsigment, it is far cheaper to throw it away as thier is only a single service shop, cost average $85 plus shipping both ways.

Good luck
