Aside from the obvious 25 vs 45w max power does anyone know the differences between the two?
I see some options:
-2 radios are identical physically with a software cap put on the power of one
-2 radios share the same design and heatsink but with minor differences to power stages
-2 radios have different power stages with bigger heat sink and power stage on the 45w model
If the radios are identical other than a software cap, then financial concerns aside, seems daft to get the lower power one.
If they have different designs and the 25w is lighter with smaller heatsink I could be tempted with that (but specs give no different figures to weight). Don't intend to use more than 25w but if its just a software cap then seems sensible to have the unlimited version.
Anyone worked out the differences?
Cheers
Jim
