Default Icom IC-R20 Scanning between 2 freqs. for an idiot?

I am having trouble following the manual to enable me to scan or search between two frequencies ie. 140 to 150mhz. Am an old guy, so would greatly appreciate simplified instructions. Have scanner set to 5 khz. spacing and nfm, which is OK. Please help. Thanks.

It's really not a scanner - it's a handheld receiver that happens to have scanning capabilities.

We also have this in our wiki...

Default IC -R20

Thanks for responses. Banging head against wall, I finally got it going. But have tried looking for videos about this subject on YouTube, with no luck, because I'm not sure I can remember how to do it again. I find the manual confusing. A video tutorial would be worth saving.

A Canadian guy has done a couple of good tutorials on YouTube, but not on this subject. I've subscribed for new updates. Does anyone know how to contact him via YouTube?

Thanks.
