Ive searched around and I know that Fountain/Warren Counties share a dispatch Center. Ive also read that all the city’s share the dispatch talkgroup as well. Does anyone know of a list of Radio IDs to be able to differentiate from the different departments? The only thing I have heard while listening is that the county deputies call signs start with 23 for Fo Co or 86 for Warren.

It is on the database in radiorefence under
Indiana P-25

No, he means the RID/UID not the TGID. If it is not in the wiki, then most likely, he will be the one to discover, and make the listing.

Yeah I found a very small list in the wiki for one of the state police districts. I sat down last night & started taking a few down. Guess I’ll start adding to the wiki! Thanks!

jlewsader,

This is my neck of the woods so I have a little bit of insight on this.

Fountain/Warren Regional Dispatch: Dispatch

Sheriff / Police Departments

86-XX: Warren County Sheriff's Office Units

West Lebanon Town Marshall/Deputy Marshall are Warren County Deputies so they "normally" use their 86 Unit ID.

23-XX: Fountain County Sheriff's Office Units

Unit-XX: Attica PD Units

23-2X: Covington PD Units

23-3X: Veedersburg PD Units

23-4X(Possibly): Hillsboro Town Marshall/PD

Volunteer Fire Departments

100 Units Attica VFD
200 Units Pine Village VFD
300 Williamsport VFD
400 West Lebanon VFD also Perrysville VFD (covers parts of Fountain County)
500 Covington/Mound Township VFD
600 Veedersburg VFD
800 Hillsboro VFD
1100 Mellott VFD
1300 Wallace/Jackson Township VFD
If you hear F-XXX (F-501) this is a firefighter of the department portable, as opposed to Tanker 56 which is a piece of their apparatus.

EMS

Warren County EMS
I don't hear their rigs as often, I don't remember how they are numbered

Fountain County EMS
EMS-1: Attica
EMS-2: Veedersburg
EMS-3: Veedersburg
EMS-4: Veedersburg (Back-Up/Special Events)
23-R: Veedersburg Rescue Truck(Extrication for smaller agencies who don't have the tools and back-up to the departments who do). Manned by EMS-2/3 crew.

I hope this all makes sense, and it helps!

This is awesome, sir! I’ve been watching and compiling a list of radio IDs and slowly uploading them to the wiki. Just takes time to verify the IDs because I know some radios, such as portables, May go between units and not exactly stay with the same unit all the time.

I thought it was EMA-1 (Fountain County) but I may be wrong. I will do some additional digging though. I know the Fountain County EMA Director.
