I got on my SDR today and found a new system (new to me that is) that hasnt been on there until today.
I did a search of the frequency 462.537.750 and it returns to parkview hospital in ft wayne and i live about 3 counties south of it. It also shows the frequency became active March 27th of 2018. Since im using an outdoor antenna it comes in pretty decent. I just seen this today and it must be new cause i sit here sometimes and listen to FRS radios a lot and this has not been on here before. Just was curious. Thanks

Is it active all day? I live within 40 miles of regional i'll try to see if I can pick it up.

It looks like a digital mode. Possibly dmr?

I looked on and off today and couldn't pick up anything at that frequency. I did see some nexedge at 461 something but it wasn't there long enough to decode it.

My v/uhf system was down for awhile but it's back up now i'll keep looking around.

Any further on this? Parkview EMS Dispatch has moved off the Hoosier Safe-T 800 System to their own UHF system in June. Haven't been able to find any information on it. Was hoping you found it.

Parkview still uses Safe-T for dispatch, at least where I am located. I haven't been on UHF much lately but i'll search around.

Well hold on just a second.. you might be right. There's a lot of entries in unitrunker for tg 10704 but they're calls between 35/44 prefixed radios. I don't see any more 57 parkview radios. I know a medic unit did call up on our local fire tg this evening (safe-t tg) during a med call but it was just for information.

Parkview EMS

Yeah, Last I knew Huntington Co EMS units were still on the Safe-T system, but Parkview had moved LaGrange and Noble Co EMS units over to this unknown "UHF" they keep referring to. I live in LaGrange Co and once in a while our EMS units will contact Parkview dispatch on the Safe-T system and complain they are not able to reach dispatch on the "UHF".

I recently retired from the LaGrange Volunteer Fire Dept and I still like to listen to the calls. So far I haven't found the radio frequency or system our Parkview EMS units here in LaGrange Co have moved to.

Scanning around UHF I was able to find what I believe is parkview at 461.41875. It sounded like dispatch telling medic units where to go. I caught medic 53 being directed to the cromwell area.

If you look under fcc license WQWU790 this specific frequency is listed as well as several others. It has a location given as 401 sawyer road which I believe is parkview noble. The others have different locations listed. So far I haven't tried any others.

I haven't had much time lately but in between working i've been trying to pinpoint which frequencies they're using and i've had good luck with two. 461.41875 and 464.625 mhz seem to be active. I'm not sure how their system is implemented but it seems as though dispatch will call up on one frequency and then the medic units will reply on another. There were breaks in the conversation, dispatch would say "ok, clear" however I didn't hear the traffic in between.

There are four frequencies listed for Kendallville on the fcc license, the two above as well as 463.56875 and 452.36875.

461.81875 shows up as control for site 346-2, columbia city. I tried the Lagrange frequencies with no luck. I'll keep looking on the others.

462.7375 sounds like a faint control channel, i'm assuming Fort Wayne. I'm about 30 miles out its too weak to decode.

Thy took an UHF MED freq, and added it to an Business TRS for a Hospital,... Interesting.... Very interesting... As far as I know that is not supposed to happen, as the 462.975000 is Public Safety Pool.... Not illegible for use in a system like this..... But with the way things are going now in the radio world... Nothing really is surprising anymore.
