LOL especially as THEY do our radios for us....

All IDPS radio codeplugs are done by IPSC. So, anything that changes, they are the ones to implement those changes. Actual. touches etc we do at the shop here, but they build the codeplugs out for us thus interop etc is garunteed at least on the radio side. And anything we change, IPSC tries to make sure all the other folks in the region get the news, and make appropriate changes themselves. Sometimes there are some slips in cracks, but its rare now. As long as the other guys in our region actually communicate with IPSC on changes they make so our radios can get updated too.

So does IPSC or IDPS have someone from /\/\otorola on site during the day? I recall /\/\ had a job posting earlier in the year for someone with P25 experience and FCC certifications for central Indiana which I presume was dedicated to either SAFE-T or IDPS

3 years ago Motorola had a shop east of the airport around Directors row / Production drive that serviced IDPS. I think Motorola makes long term service agreements part of their sales pitch.

Motorola has 2 guys on call for IDPS that can be on site within a couple of hours of call out. IPSC also has a couple of Motorola guys at various shops statewide that can roll out quickly. For a BIG issue, Motorola can have a full team in state in 4 hours or less. IPSC techs are also on call if there is an issue with the programming etc... And with them, if its business hours, they can have a guy from IGC at our shop in under an hour.
