Default BK Radios KNG P500

My Fire company is using BK P500 digital P25 16 channel radios. They are uhf in the range of 450mz to 512 mhz There are also different talk groups. If programed correctly, will a Motorola XTS 3000 work with our BK radios on the P 25 system.? I don't want to buy one of the XTS 3000 radios if it won't work on our existing system ( Digital Trunking ) UHF

Thanks for any repays or Help

If you are talking about this system: then an XTS3000 should work. But, you run into the problem of getting the 3000 put onto the system. System Admins don't typically allow non-agency radios to be put on their systems, especially non-supported radios, like the XTS3000. Motorola ended support for these radios years ago and you can bet that if there is ever a problem that the Admin will point a finger at the XTS3000 and say that it is causing issues.
