Not really wanting to reinvent the wheel here... I've been searching/surfing the net, reading posts/regulations and such, and a lot has been in flux. I'm looking to license a not-for-profit organization for a small "fleet" of handheld radios (likely 450-470-MHz). I've been looking at Part 90 - IG licensing. (The scope of itinerant operations does look like a nice option.) I did see a recent post/comment from a fellow who had been working independently through the licensing process, and how he had recently been thinking of utilizing digital (DMR), and that thread had mentioned combined analog-to-digital contingency licensing. Paying a coordinator, what could be hundreds or upwards of a thousand-dollars, is out of the question. Would anyone have any constructive guidance, helpful suggestions, or useful information to share? Sincere thanks!
