To start off, I don't have a clue where this should be, but I have seen lots of discussions about cellular in this forum. Please move if need be.
So the rundown of it,
Samsung galaxy s5, straight talk (Verizon) service. To make it fair, this has happened across AT&T with the s7 edge, note 5, and s6 all with new Sim cards.
Upon looking through the call logs, every now and then either Restricted or Unknown will show up in the call logs. It will show up immediately after receiving a call, say from mother in law, but have the same time stamp as the received call. But never ring (or beep in like call waiting). Also, without reason sometimes when checking the missed calls, it will just show up right away as if it just called, but there was no call received. Straight talk customer service is a joke, and tech support is like having a truckload of pure unobtanium. I tried to call Verizon support since it is on their network, but no dice since its not their service. I know you can't give proprietary details but we all know there are some techs in here.
Someone please give some insight on this. It's my wifes phone and she has the idea that it has been hacked or something. I'm sure it may be a software glitch, but we're talking 4 different phones with new sim cards across two carriers. Gotta be a common denominator here somewhere.
