Default Apollo pager programming

Hopefully I have this in the correct section... I have a number of Apollo 924 pagers that I am looking to reprogram, we use then in a healthcare setting for a nurse call system and had to replace our paging transmitter... I am looking for any info on how to make a cable to program these pagers. I have the software and have tried installing the driver software on a couple different USB-serial adaptors including a USB-TTL adaptor without success.

Every adaptor will take toe driver update but the software is still saying that the programming board is disconnected. Does anyone have any insight that could point me in the correct direction?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked this out?

If you're using that programming setup I would bet the problem is in the usb serial adapter. Also, perhaps if you're running it on a new computer it may be too much for that older technology. Some older stuff just doesn't play well with new versions of windows and newer hardware, much less usb/serial adapters.
