XTS3000 / 5000 Programming

Hey guys, I have searched and came up empty handed, If this has been talked about before, please point my to that post.

I traded off my XTS3000 last week, and have a XTS 5k on the way, I was told that I can drop the 3k codeplug in the 5k, is this possable?

You can drag and drop between the xts3k CPS and the xts5k CPS.

Just as Mike said, you can drag and drop, but you can't force a 3000 code plug into a 5000. It also uses different CPS (Astro 25).
