Sioux city starcomm prog issues

I hope someone can help me. I am trying to program my BC785D for Starcomm and am having trouble finding the control channel. I programmed it using what is here on RadioReference but still no success. I can hear traffic occasionally so I know my dig card is working. Can anyone help???

I'm not sure if this helps, but if your control channels are on 700mhz. then your 785D may not work but I could be wrong. Will your 785 tune the 700mhz. cc's?
Maybe someone else who has a 785D is reading this.

I don't think the 785D will do 9600 baud control channel, only 3600 baud control channel. Since it is all digital (no analog), it will have a 9600 baud control channel.

Your best bet would be to enter the frequencies in conventionally and lock out the control channel.

Right now the control channel is 859.7625. It's a straightforward P25 system. I'm listening on a 296D and it's tracking fine other than sometimes sketchy P25 decode.
