Traveling from Mn

Hey all I'm going to be traveling through your state from Minnesota and was wondering what to listening to

Your state seems complicated to me as its seems it has a bunch of small digital systems
maybe can share a file with me or something.
fyi ill be gong down hwy 280 to Missouri and have a bcd325p2 that I program with freescan

Never heard of highway 280, so not sure of exact route.

If you stay to US 218, While Linn and Johnson Co is on their own P25 800 MHz trunked system, Which most or all Law tgs are probably encrypted. Benton Co is P25 VHF conv. but encrypted. South of Johnson County, Henry County has P25 on county law don't know if encrypted. Lee county is not that I know of, might still be analog clear. I know nothing north of Black Hawk Co.

If you want to listen to the county stuff you will need to trace HWY 218 through Iowa and manually look at each county. It will be a mix of VHF analog/P25 conventional, 800mhz EDACS, and 800mhz P25 Phase 1 trunking.

If a winter storm will be passing through at the same time, the DOT VHF P25 conventional frequencies will be plenty active as well.

Henry Co is not encrypted and Lee County is still analog.
