The way the sheriffs are talking up here, it sounds like there is a deadline looming for all agencies in the state to switch to ISICS. To your knowledge, is there such a deadline in place, and what is it?

There is no such deadline.

The state cannot force all agencies onto the system.

However, all dispatch centers should have access to it so they can communicate with state radio, at the very least.

I know that neither agency I'm associated with have any plans to join the new system.

I looking at the database item for ICISB and they added Region 6 Interop talkgroups. Are these actually in use? If I understand the maps on the ICISB website Region 6 coverage is parts of the State Patrol counties for District 11 & 12. I know according to info on the site Supposedly the main tower for Scott County is done. Where ever that is located. I have been doing searches on 700 MHz & 800 MHz. Though it is hard to as 800 MHz are is full of RACOM sites.
