Does anyone have the talk channels for Franklin County yet? I'm starting to get some by searching for them on my scanner but not sure if I have all of them yet, nor descriptions.

They switched over to the state system this past week. Most of the TG's I've seen are in the lower 800's. Numbers between 804-830's is what I've heard them on so far.

I've started a list of what I've heard them refer to talkgroups as:
804-Possibly EMS
805-Info
806-Ops 1
811-EMS
813-Fire
829-LE 1
831-"Channel 4"
834-PD Admin (assume Ottawa)
835-Unknown - encrypted transmissions

Also I wanted to ask, are you only using the Ottawa tower or are you using the Wellsville, Williamsburg, Rantoul, and Pomona towers?

I assume LE 1 just means Law Enforcement channel 1. No idea what channel 4 means. I have all of the towers in my scanner.

Ok. Cool. Seems the only tower it's been on is Ottawa. Street for me.

The outlier towers can carry those talkgroups but likely won't unless one happens to roam to it. Wellsville would be the most likely due to its height.

Using only the Ottawa tower will get you 99.9 % of traffic.

813 sounds to be county fire main
820 sounds like t/a for 3300 [potawatomie fire]
821 sounds like t/a for 3200 [Richmond fire]

I was wrong, 805 is Info. It sounds like, sometimes, they say SO. Also it seems like 813 in the main channel for city and county fire.

Can safely say that TG 829 is "Franklin County Sheriff, Law Enforcement - Channel 1".

It is designated as "SR LE 1".

Anderson County also has been using 829 to talk to Franklin County in today's recordings that I have. Vastly consisting of TG radio testing. I have also observed what appears to either be encryption(?) or a decode issue on my trunk recorder. It's hard to tell what is what from the JoCo ICS tower.
