Air Evac 56 based at Danville

If you have heard Air Evac 56 flying around in Central Kentucky your ears aren't hearing skip.... Air Evac Lifeteam has chopper based at the Danville Airport... I have heard them talking to their ops on the Campbellsville (153.38000/ 051 DPL) and Harlan (173.32500/032 DPL) Towers.... The Danville Advocate-Messenger has a nice article about the arrival... I have heard they will use 153.38000 as their primary "company" freq, but that isn't first-hand info....

their suppose to be putting a base at Corbin also
either the whitley county airport or BRMC hospital

Keep an eye on the FCC web site for licensing of their own frequencies wherever they set up shop. That is what they did here in Bowling Green. They initially used the Campbellsville frequency but within several months got their own freq going.
