Default TK-3180 Reset?

is there any way to reset a 3180 that has read and overwrite passwords on it? i just purchased this radio and the seller wont/ doesnt know the password/s

If it has a read only password then you can program with a dummy or default codeplug that has no password in it.

If it has a read AND write password then it gets a little harder. You'll need a special software package or send it in to a Kenwood depot and ask to have it blanked.
