Slidell PD looking to get new radio system

Sounds like there going p-25 and this will be a good thing for them and the fire department.
My question is will they link up on lwin or get there own stand alone system, cause the st tammany system is a edacs system at the end of its eula and last i checked trhey was going to a p-25 system!!!(good it would be nice to hear the s.o. for once)
