Anyone work the ARRL DX contest over the weekend? It was CW weekend. Conditions were so-so by what I heard, but there was plenty of activity. I was listening to 10 meters and heard JAs, KH6, KH7, and KL7 within 25khz of each other in a span of 10 minutes. Can't complain about that!

I worked a station in Japan on the 2nd of this month and worked South Africa this afternoon on 10 meters. I am using a Kentwood TS-440 on 100 watts on a 2 element yagi about 15 feet off the ground.

Been on HF for two nights so far and two QSO's last night I worked my new best friend Robert W4PRN in Indiana and tonight his very good friend Roberto I2VPN in Pamona Italy. They both are sending my QSL cards so needless to say I need to get some QSL cards of my own to send back!! I'm hooked!!!

July 4th I got the K2L South Carolina Special Event station that was part of the 13 Colonies event from June 30th to July 5th. Heard K2M Pennsylvania, but couldn't work him. Took the Go-Box apart yesterday to modify the case, so I'm off the air until I get that done and the radios put back in it.

Don't feel bad Matt I missed two or three of those stations as well to make the clean sweep. I think you can still get their QSL card that's really nice! I got Kybistan and Molodvia tonight but couldn't break through the pileup for Scottland or Chile. One station is from me over 6,000 miles so far that's my furthest QSO.

Falkland Islands 80m JT65.

Not the first time I've worked VP8, but it's the first time on 80m.

Got Texas,Indiana, and Maryland tonight. Wanted to work that special event station at the speedway for some time now. Still having trouble figuring how to operate split but eventually I'll figure it out like everything else. It for me just might take longer.

If you mean W9IMS, they aren't at the track.

The W9IMS stations are on the air for the running of various major events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but the actual stations are not at the track.

Roger,Roger...it would be cool if they were actually at the track under a tent(with headphones) or in a trailor. When I was seriously into Motorcycling I went to Monterey to see them run when they returned to the United States. I think they have been running at Indy for 8 or 9 years now.
