Got Costa Rica and South Carolina tonight. The Chilian station was booming like 20 over so you could imagine the pileup.

Worked a station on Sombrero Island tonight. I would imagine it counts as Venezuela. I just more would confirm. I'm using LOTW,Eqsl,Clublog, and QRZ. I suppose you can't fight city hall.

Worked a station on Aruba Island earlier. Man was he loud and clear. He was contesting but I wanted to ask him what he was running but I'm sure he just wanted to pile up the Q's. I probably could look him up on QRZ.

That's cool I need West Virginia pick a time and a place and I'll try to be there!!!! I learned something during the day 10,12,15,and 17 are open. I think I worked at least five or six different bands using my vertical antenna. Life is good!

Very good John! I just joined this thread. Are you working WAS (Worked All States)? Any particular band or all bands? I was born in WV. Welcome to the Ham Radio community! I now live in Maryland so if you need a QSO up here, just let me know.

Default Indonesia

I don't have my ticket yet, just listening for now... but on Dec. 31 I picked up YB0IBM from Indonesia on 20m. He was low in the noise but still fairly readable.

This is my new farthest DX!

KK6ZLY, on top of Mt. Diablo in Northern California, who was looking for Summits On The Air contacts. On 146.520 MHz; we were just shy of 40 miles apart, both using 5-watt handhelds (indoors, in my case).

As an added bonus, he has the next sequential callsign after mine.

Took advantage of good propagation last night over my way and was able to work a repeater 75 miles from my QTH in Oklahoma on my HT running 5 watts! Checked into to the local club net there. Took me a couple of tries but the net control operator was very patient and was as surprised as I was once he copied my call and location and the fact I was on an HT! I think that was pretty cool considering my outdoor antenna is only 25-30 AGL!

I have never been on HF yet so, this is about the only thing close to DX I have done so far....lol!

That may change this weekend though, I am getting to participate in the OK QSO Party.

Activated WR03 on 20M as part of national parks on the air. Made many state side contacts but also some foreign entities such as
France, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Croatia, Italy.

Had a huge pile up for almost over an hour until someone jammed the frequency for less then a minute with music and everyone waiting to contact me scattered.

Otherwise it was a blast!

Worked 23 States today as a club operator in the Oklahoma QSO party as W0IN. If I made anyone's log on here, your contact was much appreciated!

It was my first time on HF and I had a blast!
