coast freqs in socal area

hello to all anyone have any good freqs for the coast guard in so cal im near 17 mile from port of long beach port of los angeles area and will i be able to hear them in in the compton cali. area ty

156.8 ch 16, 157.050 ch 21a, 157.100 ch 22a, 157.150 ch 23a is pretty much all you need. Not familiar with your area but you should hear the LA station.

The Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin helicopters use marine channel 83A (157.1750) to communicate with Coast Guard Sector LA. They use Coast Guard Air Ops (345.0000) to communicate with LA Air (I believe that's the base at LAX). They use LAX Helo (119.8000) to communicate with LAX.

On 03 Jan 2011, I heard the Coast Guard Cutter Sockeye calling Sector LA on 83A.
