Busy Night in Virginia Waters

Caught one side of Sector Hampton Roads trying to get information on a vessel that is in distress, went on for about 20 min then Sector sent out a Pan Pan. I missed the part of it. I came back to the house and turned the radio on, Sector verified with the vesel that the Captain is Attached to it? And the Helo will be there in 20 minutes.

As I am typing this, another Pan Pan came out, appears its a 39 foot sailing vessel that is disable and taking on water, USCG helo in route.

Not a good night weather wise to be sailing that is for sure.

2 more Pan Pans have come out, Helicopter is near the position of the vessel taking on water. There is another vessel that is in distress. The Third Pan Pan was for an 8-10 foot vessel in distress in the bay. Have not heard this much chatter even when the hurricanes are here.
